MBP has exciting opportunities for consultants, project engineers, and construction managers with experience in the design and construction of complex facilities that have a high degree of creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving design and construction problems, determining program objectives and requirements, and organizing programs and projects. Experience in governmental, educational, institutional, healthcare, or commercial building facilities is desired. Opportunities include managing and providing services during preconstruction, construction, and closeout stages. Ability to function in a role with direct interaction with clients is preferred.
MAIN DUTIES:
Project assignments including on-site representation of client, project documentation, estimating, scheduling, plan review, quality assurance, research of records. Capable of leading effort on mid- to large projects. Frequently initiating client contact and often a primary interface with clients. Working within project budgets and providing leadership on project teams.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE:
B.S. in industry-related field preferred. Professional registration, other job relevant certification such as CMIT, EIT, CCM, PMP, CCE, PSP, or advanced specialized technical knowledge. Detailed knowledge of construction, principles of construction management and project controls, with specialized knowledge in several areas including scheduling, cost estimating, documentation, contract administration, and construction techniques. Knowledge of personnel and project management techniques including budgeting, leadership, training, and business development.
