EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:
Some construction work experience preferred. Experience may be in the following sectors: federal, state, municipal, K-12 school, water/wastewater, higher education, laboratory facilities, transportation, ports or marina projects.
MAIN DUTIES:
Project assignments including on-site representation of client, preparation of project documentation, cost estimating, scheduling, plan review, research of records. May perform a review of project records, schedules, and as-built construction to evaluate change orders and requests for extension of time. Independently apply techniques and analyze for problems and methods. Ensure the quality and timeliness of deliverables.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
Receive training, participation in company activities, and administrative duties. Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
FE/EIT preferred. Knowledge of engineering principles of construction management and project controls. Knowledge of one of the following services: critical path method scheduling, cost estimating, project budgeting, delay analysis, constructibility and design review, inspections, quantity take-offs. Must possess OSHA 10-hour or OSHA 30-hour certification or obtain within 3 months of hire.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, CADD, graphics, writing capabilities, and ability to work independently.
GUIDANCE/RESPONSIBILITY:
Work is closely supervised.
SUPERVISORY:
Ability to supervise assistants in technical/administrative roles.
