EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:
A Project Manager I will assist other Project Management staff in anticipating and solving unprecedented engineering complexities, determining program objectives and requirements, organizing programs and projects, and developing standards and guidelines for diverse engineering activities. Evidence of progressive career development within the construction industry.
MAIN DUTIES:
Assist Project Management staff in managing a project’s overall effort for the client, including assisting in managing a team and coordinating the work of various project entities (designer, contractor, owner personnel). Assists in preparation, monitoring, and managing client project budgets and internal budgets. Analyzes and optimizes internal and external processes.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
Engages in business development, participates in marketing activities, actively participates in company initiatives, and assists in providing project management on small to mid-size projects. Helps to prepare, monitor, and manage the client’s project budgets. Works closely with project accountant to manage individual multipliers, utilization forecasts and project margins. Attends and participates in professional association meetings; stays abreast of new trends and innovations in the field of civil engineering. Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE:
B.S. in industry-related field preferred. Professional registration and other job-relevant certifications such as CCM, CCE, or advanced specialized technical knowledge are strongly preferred. Detailed knowledge of construction, principles of construction management and project controls, with specialized knowledge in several areas including scheduling, cost estimating, documentation, contract administration, construction techniques. Some knowledge of personnel and project management techniques including budgeting, leadership, training, and business development is required.

SALARY:
$95,000 - $100,000 per year
