Overview

Do you have experience developing, monitoring, and managing schedules for manufacturing facility projects?

 

MBP is looking for a Construction Scheduler in the Atlanta metro area to support schedule development, monitoring, and management for manufacturing facility projects. If you have experience in this area and are ready to contribute to project success, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

As a Construction Scheduler, you will develop and manage project schedules and narratives, assist in baseline scheduling for bids, identify and report impacts to schedules, evaluate production progress, and provide project status reports. You will work closely with engineers, project managers, superintendents, and estimating teams to ensure accurate and timely project delivery. Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and manage project schedules and narratives based on input from project personnel including engineers, project managers, superintendents, and estimating teams.
  • Assist in baseline scheduling for bid process by working with estimating and engineering teams to identify the sequence of all project work.
  • Identify and report the impact of performed and delayed work by updating approved schedule and financial reporting programs.
  • Evaluate and analyze production progress and identify possible risks to schedule or budget.
  • Provide project status reports to the Senior Construction Scheduler for weekly and monthly project update meetings.
  • Participate in project status preparation meetings to ensure project personnel are aware of full project status.
  • Maintain knowledge of Company values.

 

Who We Are Looking For

Experience:

  • 5+ years of scheduling experience on construction projects.

Qualifications

Skills and Abilities:

  • Relate technical knowledge to a non-technical audience.
  • Advanced verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Skilled at developing and maintaining relationships.
  • Interface and effectively communicate with others.
  • Understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling techniques.
  • Proficiency in Primavera (P6) software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

 

Education/Knowledge:

  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
