For this position, we seek candidates in the Leesburg, Virginia, area with education and/or experience in construction management. The project will involve mostly off hours work – nights and weekends. The ability to work independently and to deal with multiple, demanding stakeholders is required.
A Project Manager must demonstrate a high degree of creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented engineering complexities, determining program objectives and requirements, organizing programs and projects, and developing standards and guidelines for diverse engineering activities. Evidence of progressive career development within the construction industry. Experience on projects utilizing Construction Manager at Risk delivery is preferred

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE:
B.S. in industry-related field preferred. Professional registration and other job-relevant certifications such as CCM, CCE, or advanced specialized technical knowledge are strongly preferred. Detailed knowledge of construction, principles of construction management and project controls, with specialized knowledge in several areas including scheduling, cost estimating, documentation, contract administration, and construction techniques. Knowledge of personnel and project management techniques including budgeting, leadership, training, and business development.
