SUMMARY:
On behalf of the Navy construction program office, manage the mechanical acceptance testing process for a $2.7B, five-plus year military construction program in eastern North Carolina. Work as part of a team engineers to provide technical oversight for the design, installation, and acceptance of mechanical systems.
MBP has exciting opportunities for construction managers with experience in the construction of complex facilities that have a high degree of creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving construction problems, managing project documentation, and overseeing the construction quality process. Experience in the federal, higher education, healthcare, laboratory, data center, or commercial industries desired.
Individuals at this level demonstrate a high degree of creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented engineering complexities, determining program objectives and requirements, organizing programs and projects, and developing standards and guidelines for diverse engineering activities. EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:
Extensive construction experience including functional leadership of project or task teams for a construction manager, contractor, owner, developer or designer. Evidence of progressive career development. Minimum of 10 years of construction experience as a building inspector, construction superintendent, and/or QC manager on projects of similar size and complexity as those expected. MBP has exciting opportunities for consultants, project engineers, and construction managers with experience in the design and construction of complex facilities that have a high degree of creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving design and construction problems, determining program objectives and requirements, and organizing programs and projects. Experience in governmental, educational, institutional, healthcare, or commercial building facilities is desired. Opportunities include managing and providing services during preconstruction, construction, and closeout stages. Ability to function in a role with direct interaction with clients is preferred.
