EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:
SUMMARY:
On behalf of the Navy construction program office, manage the mechanical acceptance testing process for a $2.7B, five-plus year military construction program in eastern North Carolina. Work as part of a team engineers to provide technical oversight for the design, installation, and acceptance of mechanical systems.
SUMMARY:
Provide information management, data analytics, and project and program coordination for a multi-billion-dollar Department of Defense project portfolio in eastern North Carolina. Work on-site as an embedded consultant within the Navy construction management organization tasked with organizing and communicating project and program information. Position will be onsite at Camp Lejeune while supporting projects at Camp Lejeune, Cherry Point, and New River.
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:
- Construction work experience and basic understanding of construction means and methods for transportation projects with a focus on VDOT or other DOT experience. EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:
Demonstrated advanced knowledge and expertise in the planning and inspection of mechanical systems activities for the construction of large, multi-story facilities. Demonstrated inspection and quality management experience in monitoring, tracking and reporting of construction activities to verify conformance to contract plans, specifications, and general permit requirements. Experience with SCIFs and data centers preferred.
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:
Extensive experience in construction management and leading contracts for construction engineering and inspection on road and bridge projects. Evidence of progressive career development and demonstrated expertise in leading projects or programs with a diverse team. Experience managing contracts with VDOT and localities required. Experience working with other heavy civil, rail or airport clients in Northern Virginia such as WMATA or MWAA is positive.
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:
Minimum four years of construction work experience and basic understanding of construction means and methods for water and sewer projects. Experience may be in the following project types: large diameter water mains, large diameter sewer force mains, gravity sewers, bypass systems, pump stations, SCADA systems, line stops, sewer CIPP rehabilitation, manhole rehabilitation, directional drilling, jack and boring, and micro-tunneling.
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:
Construction work experience and basic understanding of construction means and methods. Experience inspecting construction work activities of the same or similar type as that of the project which the Transportation Construction Inspector is assigned. EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:
Extensive experience as a project manager executing building enclosure commissioning services during design and construction of commercial projects. Evidence of progressive career development and demonstrated expertise in leading large, complex projects or programs with a diverse team preferred.
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:
Significant experience with commercial (non-residential) HVAC systems. Experience should include some of the following: design, construction, installation, maintenance, testing & balancing, building automation temperature control systems, functional performance testing, and troubleshooting operational issues.
